The standard bands will CRUSH 3/8 steel. You can tune them well over 300 fps nooo problem. We’ve seen customers break 400 with our standard bandsets.

I purchased a 58 gallon olive barrel from a local tote and container company. Cut an opening in the side and reinforced opening with 1”x 2” wood strips. Put a plywood bulkhead in the top portion to serve as a storage compartment. Draped a bath towel over an all thread rod using Velcro. Drilled holes in the bulkhead, ran paracord through the holes and attached small carabiners to hang cans and targets from. Turned out to be my best catch box. I also have catch boxes made from 27 gallon tote boxes from Home Depot. Use what ever your imagination and wallet will allow. Get creative and have fun.
