In reply to john ager. Wise to take your time!! Always tune slow (slow or long meaning the same thing: trim the bands long and they'll shoot slower) then speed them up gradually until you lock in on your preferred tuning! You can always shorten but you can never lengthen!

Looking at guidance for calculating how long the band should be. Have watched the video on draw length and some others but want to be careful before cutting the bands.

I’m a 47 year old lass from the UK and the Beanflip is my first ever slingshot.
Just peppered the middle of my first ever 5×5 target – I’m so chuffed. Why didn’t I know about this sooner!!

In reply to Scott. Check out the Sparrow owners manual. It shows how to tie bandsets onto the frame. After doing it a couple times, you'll get it. It really is simple.

I am a 53 year old disabled veteran with low back fusions. I’m looking to get into slingshots for stress relief and to get me more active. I was wondering if you have any instructions on how to tie the band to the frame and what is best to use for this.
