How to recycle your slingshot band pouches.
You can definitely reuse those slingshot band pouches. Chuck your old bands, but don’t throw away that slingshot pouch!
In this video, Nathan goes over the topic of slingshot pouch reuse. He has a pouch he is still using after a decade of use!
So, just a couple things to consider.
- Slingshot pouches don’t wear out quickly if they are made of quality materials.
- You can get literally hundreds of band sets out of one pouch.
- Pouches will stretch, but that is just part of the break-in process.
- You won’t love all slingshot pouches. If you have one you don’t like, just get rid of it.
- Stick with the ones you love. When you have a pouch for your slingshot that’s just right, hang onto it.
- Use the slingshot pouch until it’s no longer viable.
- Kangaroo pouches last very long time as do Latigo Leather pouches. Microfiber has become a new excellent choice!
So when is it time to retire your slingshot pouch? If it is tearing and can no longer come under the strain of the shot, it’s time to let it go.
