Why is my tube shooter so much quieter than my flat band shooter?

Even with loop tubes or multiple tubes? First of all, tubes are definitely quieter.

There is no doubt about it. Secondly, tubes are quieter for a few reasons:

1. Tubes have a cushion of air inside the tube. This cushion of air will make tubes quieter every time.

2. Tubes have no flat areas to create a slapping sound. It’s the flatness of a flat band that makes it slap on lunch and recoil.

So indeed. Tubes are much quieter and will always be quieter for these two reasons.
