Clay slingshot ammo for hunting ground squirrels or rabbits?

Is 3/8 clay slingshot animal suitable for hunting question this is a great question and one that needs careful consideration.

The short answer is: we do not recommend it at all.

Anything can be possible. It has been done . . . BUT! SHOULD it be done? We say no.

Use a setup that has the BEST chance for a quick clean kill. The mass, symmetry and potential velocity of the clay means one factor is present in hunting with 3/8 inch clay that you do NOT want there: Luck.

We owe it to the game AND our sport to be responsible. Hunting with 3/8 clay is not the level of responsibility we promote in our sport. Please don’t do it.
