Can I shoot BB’s (.177 caliber) from my slingshot?
Yes, shooting BB’s is an excellent and inexpensive way to dial in your technique. BB’s can be shot from any slingshot with the appropriate bands.
The key with BB’s is not to over power the projectile.
Ultralight weight bands are required and a pouch that is made to shoot BB’s. SimpleShot offers dedicated BB bandsets and slingshots.

Using bb’s is great but dropping them during the loading is not. Is there a way to magnetize the pouch to keep the bb in there?
A magnetized pouch may not allow the bb to be released freely.
A magnetized pouch is a dream for shooting BBs. 🙂
We’ve never seen it harm the release, but we’d sure love to see any research on the topic!
What if you could glue some thin latex inside the pouch, where the ball makes the contact. This cu increase the grip significantly. Abviously, use some adhesive which keeps elasticity when dries, so you don’t affect the sitffnes of the pouch.
