“We’re really excited to introduce the new FlipClip™ from FlippinOut Slingshots. Gone are the days of tying on your bands with the traditional wrap and tuck method. There are a couple of unique things about the FlipClip™, one is that it fits into the actual fork tips of the clip of the Scout Slingshot. We have this piece right here that interfaces with the band grooves. If you’ll take a look, you can see there’s a left component and a right component.

This orientation is for over-the-top (OTT). When we look at when we’re facing the slingshot, with the logo facing the user, this would be the right fork and this the left fork. The right clip fits in this way. We can see that there’s a separate over the top you can see the male component of the flip clip is going into the groove for the over-the-top (OTT) configuration. Next, put the washer on the front. Install the screw and give it a few turns just to get it started. We’ll do the same thing with the other side… Now to put the bands on, we’ll place the slingshot facedown, and open our factory-sealed bands with stabilized a pouch. for the over-the-top (OTT) configuration. I always want to make sure that the ears are tied in facedown. Then place it into positions. Press the FlipClip™ into the groove and hand tighten. You can see we’ve got a nice secure attachment. Do the same thing with the other side, making sure that the pouch is facing up with the ears facing down. Here, we are in the over-the-top configuration.

Now, what if you want to adjust your bands? If you’re not sure how long you want your bands. Open them up, and fold your bands to approximately where you’d like to cut. Place it into position, and hand-tighten the screws. If need be, I can simply come back and cut the excess. In doing so, there are two layers of rubber underneath the FlipClip™ providing for a more secure fit. FlipClips™ will also accommodate up to 0.05 thick rubber.”
